We will utilize our professional relationships to help place your athlete in a position to be successful. We are a Christian- based organization focused on the love of the game, but more importantly, our love for God.
Born and raised in Union County, NC and with 33 years of professional baseball experience that began with Andy signing out of Piedmont High School with the Atlanta Braves. Andy also played for 5 different Major League teams including the Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Red Sox, Oakland Athletics, New York Mets and the Detroit Tigers.
Following Andy's 15 year professional playing career, he spent 2 years as an area scout in North & South Carolina with the Milwaukee Brewers and as minor league hitting coach. Andy also served 16 years with the Chicago White Sox as a minor league hitting coach. He was also a hitting coach for the Arizona Fall League (2014) sponsored by the MLB and selected as a hitting coach for the AAA All Star game in Charlotte 2016. Andy is currently serving as the hitting coach for the German National team.
Jimmie Quesinberry is currently serving as Head of School and baseball coach at Hickory Grove Christian School and pastor at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC. Previous to retiring from Union County Public Schools (UCPS) in 2015, he served in several positions in UCPS such as Director of Staff Development, Social Studies Curriculum Coordinator and High School teacher and coach at Forest Hills HS in Marshville, NC. While at Forest Hills, those teams won numerous conference and tournament championships and a state championship in 1997 and had numerous players to go on and play baseball in college. Jimmie was a pitcher at Wingate College for the late Ron Christopher and current Tomberlin coach, Bill Nash. His most recent high school team finished 5th in the state (NCISAA) and currently Hickory Grove has several college recruits headlined by Jordan Little, 2021 commit to East Carolina University.
In addition to his educational employment, Jimmie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Educator's License-K-12 School Counselor (NC Dept. of Public Instruction) and Clinical Member of American Association of Marriage and Family Therapist (Approved Supervisor). He is able to provide both baseball instruction and mental-game coaching for his players.
After graduating with his B.S. in Social Studies Education from Wingate College, he went on to earn his Master of Marriage and Family Therapy at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and then a Doctor of Education in Christian Education Leadership from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He is married to Alisa (1993) and has five children, Eddie, Logan, Allyson, Ryan, and Anna Li.
